Nothing happens until two people fall in love – and then the whole world changes.
That’s the description of this locally produced film on their Facebook Page. St Louis native Matt Amato returned to his home town to directs his screenplay, from a story by Heath Ledger. Principal filming was completed in St Louis last year and Matt has stayed here to complete the editing of the film, shot by Chris Benson of Lamplight Films.
Note – Chris also shot 23 Minutes to Sunrise that I fortunately caught at the St Louis Filmmakers Showcase. Good stuff.
Jorie Jacobi of STLCurator.com caught up with Matt to discuss the film and film-making. Highly recommended, it includes a short video component from his rented office space at First Punch Films, a firm that was featured in this article that offers some very positive feedback on St Louis and the film community.
Lots of goodness throughout this article!
