The St. Louis County Library Foundation presents a Public Interview with Beau Willimon, St. Louis native and creator, head writer, and executive producer of the award-winning series “House of Cards. The event will be held following a private (ticket required) reception in a benefit for the Foundation.

Willimon is a ‘Navy brat’ and his family settled here upon his father’s retirement. He attended John Burroughs School and took drama classes, where his drama teacher was Jon Hamm, and graduated in 1995 according to Wikipedia.
Tickets are still available for the Private catered reception that will include wine & appetizers. The reception is the exclusive opportunity to meet Mr. Willimon. There will not be a signing following the public event.

Reception attendees will have reserved seats at Beau Willimon’s 7:00 pm public talk in the Library Main Reading Room (an on-stage interview hosted by KMOX’s Debbie Monterrey.
Proceeds from this reception benefit the Library Foundation’s ForWord Fund, designed to strengthen North County and underserved communities through education, reading, and early childhood literacy programs.
