We need your support to make Missouri home to more movies, TV shows, and multimedia productions!
Let’s not miss out on the job opportunities, boost in tourism and economic development that go to other states with strong incentive programs.
Latest Legislative News — The Show MO Act, SB 732, was unanimously voted out of the Senate Economic Development Committee. The Show MO Act, HB 2106 was also voted out of the House Special Committee on Tourism, but we still have a lot of work to do to urge lawmakers to pass a much-needed statewide film incentive.
The Missouri Motion Media Association (MOMMA) is the only statewide advocacy organization in Missouri working to reinstate film incentives in Missouri and strengthen our production industry throughout the state. We recognize the manufacturing entertainment industry is growing and we want our communities across the state to benefit!
MOMMA’s funding is based on donations from professionals and supporters of the Missouri film industry. These funds allow MOMMA to sponsor educational trips and materials for Missouri legislators, sponsorship for educational and advocacy events around the state and support for Missouri Stories Scriptwriting Fellowship encouraging more film and television pilot scripts set in Missouri.
* MOMMA is a not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization and contributions made are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.

Join us in advocating for the reinstatement of a Missouri statewide film incentive, which expired in 2013. This important economic development program will make Missouri competitive for film and television work, resulting in millions of dollars of spend in our state, jobs, and workforce development in an expanding field.
