Please join us to network with other industry professionals and learn the latest about our mission to renew the Missouri Film Tax Incentive program, which will expire on Nov. 28, 2013. Will there be a film office past June 30, 2013???
Date:Â Saturday April 27th
Time:Â 10:00-10:30 a.m. networking, 10:30 am meeting begins
10 Hitt Street
Columbia, Missouri 65201
We will discuss issues that affect our industry at the state level. Â Also, we will have a discussion about the current state of the industry in Columbia and how the Columbia film community is working together. Â We will have representatives from Stephens College and MU to talk about what’s going on with their programs and what their students/graduates are up to.
Missouri has had a film tax incentive in varying amounts since 1999! The program will sunset this year, and renewal is tenuous due to many reasons. MOMMA is organized and working to save the tax incentive which can be used for in state film, television, and even commercials, and to keep a film office staff person at the state level.
Cost: Â Suggested donation: $10.00 for non-members. Â Students welcome!
If you are not a member of MOMMA, your $10.00 meeting fee can be applied to your $25.00 individual or $20.00 student membership, if you decide to join at the meeting. Details at meeting.
