The first annual MOMMA conference and motion media industry summit was held February 26 – 27 at the Marriott Courtyard in Columbia, MO . MOMMA just completed a survey of conference participants and will post the results shortly. By all accounts our first Film Summit and Conference was a resounding success.
Planning for the 2010 conference will begin early next month when we send out requests for proposals to cities around Missouri. We want the conference to rotate so that each city has an opportunity to host and strengthen their community’s relationship with the film industry. At each conference, we will hold a “Breakfast at the Movies,” day where we will invite the business community to hear about the film industry.
