Local film buffs can catch all the action from the red carpet and the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on the 40-foot screen inside FOX Sports Midwest Live! at Ballpark Village. The event, which is a fundraiser for the Whitaker St. Louis International Film Festival, will include local celebrity emcees Guy Phillips of Y-98 and Cinema St. Louis Chairman Kim Tucci, as well as special guest Jay Kanzler, director of the locally-shot family film “Marshall the Miracle Dog.” Guests will also enjoy attendance prizes and can bid on auction items.
“Cinema St. Louis is delighted to partner with Ballpark Village to celebrate film’s biggest night together,” said Cliff Froehlich, executive director of Cinema St. Louis. “As the nonprofit presenter of the St. Louis International Film Festival and other annual movie events, Cinema St. Louis especially appreciates receiving fundraising support from Ballpark Village. The money raised will help ensure that St. Louis will continue to see the best in cinema from around the world.”
The event donation is $5/person at the door. A VIP package including VIP Lounge access, champagne and appetizers is available as well for $25. Visit the Ballpark Village website for more information.
