See “Rosewood” With The Missouri Black Caucus Wednesday

Join the Missouri Black Caucus and the Missouri Film Office as they celebrate Black History Month with “A Celebration of Cinema Classics”. The first film is “Rosewood“, the story of a black town in Florida that was burned to the ground in 1923, its people murdered because of a lie. Some escaped and survived because of the courage and compassion of a few extraordinary people. This flm is for them.

What: Screening of “Rosewood
When: Wednesday February 17th, 7:00 pm
Where: Missouri Capitol Rotunda, Missouri State Capitol Building

Prior to the screening, beginning at 6:30 pm, The Seeds of Success: The Legacy of George Washington Carver will be shown.
